Happy Chinese Niu Year to All of you guys and gals out there! Hope that everyone had enjoyed this festive season, and have your pockets full of Red packets :)
Elyzia spent their last hour of Chinese New Year Eve at home, sitting in front of the computer, until the clock strikes 12 to wish each other happy new yr! Silly Elyzia, but, its the Elyzia that Elyzia loves ^_^
Anyways, we did our 5th recording - Only You, on last Saturday. Well, not completed yet, all instruments had recorded their parts, left only vocals, but after listening to the rough mixed of the instrument tracks, certain parts are still not satisfied yet, so we might be re-doing some guitar track together with the vocal recording scheduled on this coming Saturday. Hope that all will turn out well *Cross Finger*
Band members are going thru their ups and downs especially these few weeks, busy-ness, tiredness, emo-ness, sickness, but we believe that we will very soon pick ourselves up again, and strive towards our common goal, with the ultimate speedy recovery mode for our passion!
Poor Mic had food poison this morning, we hope that he will get well soon! Meanwhile, we are also preparing for our 6th recording song, akan datang! As soon as the 5th recording is completed, we will post it up and share with all you guys and gals.

Preparation for 5th Recording
Elyzia is now busy with the preparation on our 5th recording on this coming Saturday - 24th Jan 09!
KK Wong had sent us the freshly baked "Puffer Fish" last week and it is already up in all our links ^_^ Probably just a refresh, shall list the links here again:

Busy Week? Quiet Week?
Yeah, its a busy and quiet week for Elyzia. After our 4th recording - Puffer Fish, and all the holidays, shutdowns and off, Elyz is back to their busy working routine.
Its not a very good week thou, Rhea's left eye gotten really bad infection due to long hours of contact lenses wear, that she was referred to the A&E immediately after she visited a clinic near her office. She is now "banned" from wearing contact lenses, to prevent her from turning into "one-eyed-monster". Right now, she's still in recuperating mode, left eye still not able to see things clearly, but, she will be alright soon!
Mic was helping out on Rhea's company D&D with the photo-taking shoot for the whole day(btw, its a paid job, and funds will go into Elyzia's band fund. Yes). Well, its really a long day, from 1pm all the way till 10pm~ the siong schedule somehow hurt Mic's back that he has to stay inactive over the weekend... which means... no jamming~! Better rest well Mic, we need your back, and your legs! and your hands, and your pair of drum sticks! haha!
Ivor is busy with his work, quotations, enquiries, sales, followup, after the long holidays. He is also tied down with his family stuff, and lets all hope that everything will be ok!
And now, Mic, with his short hair (and he loves his short hair) is going back for his reservist this week!

4th Recording Done!
What an appetizer for Elyzia's 2009! 3rd day into a fresh new year and we recorded our fourth original 'Puffer Fish'. I guess the best compliment of the day is not that we managed to record it in a day (4.5 hrs to be exact), but that we all felt the burning passion, improvement and progress.
Not only that, Elyzia also took part in Mediacorp's Live N'Loaded program with our previous recording 'Parasite'. Please support us by clicking on our picture below. We also did a few more things which is too early to announce at the moment. Akan datang!
In this latest recording, we added another guitarist, Edmund into our lineup. Check out what we had done in our new original when it is up on myspace.
It's been a very hectic week for Mic too. Shitloads of work, but he managed to pull thru, and best thing is, he enjoy what he is doing. That is most important.
Rhea had been clearing her off days while Ivor is enjoying his shutdown. Wait till they get back to work... which is like... 1 day later... zzz... Frankie is already back to his usual work routine after the New Year. No complains about that. With the friggin' economy now, it is already a blessing that we did not tio pok *touch wood*
We are now preparing for our 5th original and recording is scheduled for 24th Jan 09, yes, this month, Woohoo~ Kudos and appreciation goes out to all those who support us and a big pat on the backs of all Elyzia members for pushing the barriers of living a band life while working off their asses at the same time. Try doing that, and you will know that it is not easy, especially so assuming that you can do it successfully, maintaining the standard and then pushing yourself even further.
Same thoughts and advice still, nobody said it was easy, thing is, do you want to do it or not. As quoted by Yoda... 'do, or do not, there is no try'
