Street Clap Band Competition on 1 May 2009

Elyzia took part of the Street Clap Competition on 1 May 2009, with 20 bands on that day. Although Elyzia did not make it to the Final round, we learned and enjoyed alot that day. Elyzia also sincerely thank all our Friends who came down specially to give us their support, Really thank you thank you, and appreciate it!

Updates on Elyzia

Dear Friends,

Its been awhile since Elyzia last updated you guys on our progression. Seem like there will be a few gigs coming up in May and June. Will post out all details once we got it tied down :)

A New Chapter

Dear Folks,

We are very very very sorry to inform everyone that our gig on this Good Friday with Street Beatz is canceled, due to Drummer - Mic, has left Elyzia.

We wish Mic all the best with his future endeavors, and we do definitely appreciate and miss him for those good times we had in Elyzia.

Elyzia is currently back again with 4pcs (1 Vox, 2 Guitarist, 1 Bassist), and is looking out for committed drummer who can play our originals (and of coz, to work together for more originals in the future) and can at least fulfilled the following to join us:

1. Main requisite: Know why you are doing this.
2. Secondary: Prefer after NS, unless you're sure u can commit cuz we'll squeeze you dry.
3. Jamming at least twice a week on wed 11pm & sat 12pm.

Health Conscious Elyzia

Its been really bad weather recently, causing alot of viruses going around. Elyz also couldnt escape the attack of the viruses...

For the last week, Elyzia had been jamming with 3 sick and viruses invaded souls in a jamming room for the whole of 3 jamming sessions. First one is Ivor.. who has been suffering from Vertigo for many days and still no sign of recovery yet. Then is Ed, who's not sure that he had food poisoned or stomach flu, diarrhea, fever, come and go. Rhea did not lose out to both of them.. she was caught with sore throat, then it turns into bad cough, bad flu, and fever too. She used her "sexy" vocal to practice with the rest of Elyz.

Was quite funny to actually see the stone souls trying to work hard on our new original.

Elyzia hope that everyone gonna take extra care on their health, esp during these bad weather period, and also Ivor, Ed and Rhea to recover in no time for our gig on 10th April!

Elyzia's Upcoming Events

Elyzia is in the midst of recording our 6th and already started to rehearse for the 7th original, which is scheduled to be recorded in mid-april. We will also be taking part in the following programs;

1) Street Beatz - 10th April 2009 (10pm @ Cineleisure)
2) Street Fest - May (Time & Venue not confirmed)
3) June Breakdown - 7th June 2009 (0830pm @ The Arthouse, Playden)
