青春狂想曲 19 Dec 首映礼！

一粒沙在19 Dec 2011 出席了《青春狂想曲》教育纪录片的首映礼，也和古来乐团－Cross一起参与了现场的演出。

不过，老天不做媒，下起了倾盆大雨，把整个舞台都淹起来了。。。辛苦了工作人员，要忙着把水都清理了，我们才可以继续表演。。

当然在等的当儿，我们也不忘了娱乐自己

同时，也和Cross一起合照

我们还买了佳燕著的《咩咩国求生记》找了她签名～

接下来跟大家分享一下当天的气氛！

一粒沙好久都沒有update部落格了！大家，還想念我們嗎～～哈哈～

這幾個月都好忙，9月在新山的狂月搖滾派對（Jump! Party!）與ah5ive瘋狂的演出，也拍了好多照片，都上載在我們的facebook了

看看以下片段，就知道我們有多enjoy這次的行程了！

我們在南院的宿舍里吃喝玩樂，enjoy到極點！

過後，回到新加坡的下一場表演就是AMG主辦的JamFest, 在烏節路的＊Scape 演出！這次我們也與ah5ive一起合作一首“LMF” 的 “揸緊中指”

雖然這場演出的planning狀況百出，不過跟志同道合的朋友們一起瘋，感覺真的很好！

當然接下來，我們會有幾場在新山的演出，會把更多的詳情與大家分享！

嗨！大家好！

好久没有update我们‘一粒沙’的blog了。这些日子我们可是没有偷懒哦。除了在新加坡继续表演之外，我们也是从春呐2011回来了。照片都可以在我们的facebook看得到。

那接下来呢，我们也会与Ah5ive乐团在九月和十月有一系列的表演。最近期的当然是在3rd September 2011，马来西亚的’Jump! Party‘（狂月摇滚爆唱会）！

我们非常期待这场表演哦！因为除了我们可以用这种崭新的方式来庆祝中秋之外，还可以和许多好久不见的朋友聚一聚！

Yo'all,

'Come On Rock Concert' (来吧！摇滚街头爆唱会) in JB town was so much fun! We would like to thank everybody for making it happen!

First of all our big thank you to 筱燕, 添喜 & 马谣 for having us to play in such a fun and exciting show~ 筱燕 even called cab for us after the show and we went supper together! Next is the Raymond & gang for making the event even more happening! Thank you so much for supporting and pushing 'Live For The Moment' compilation cd 'Return To Base' so hard! We also got to know alot of great friends and musicians like 吉他侠, 鸟鸟, 毛毛, Zet, Blacklace, 21st Century, Celsius. Not to forget the amazing sound crew and of cuz our deepest appreciation to Jay, John, Xuan Ge, Ma & Pa!

Despite the ever threatening rain (which in the end it didn't), the whole event was a blast and we enjoyed it to the max!

Coming up, the 3 bands involved in Live For The Moment will be playing at Music In Singapore (MIS) event @ *SCAPE organized by The Ark (木船) with Azure and Artistes from The Ark. Catch all of us live this coming Sunday and let's rock the house down!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Yeap, in a flash, 2010 is history and we had a blast @ Boon Lay Countdown with Ah5ive's Jason & Xuan and Redpoll's Sam! Although it's badly overrun, we still enjoyed ourselves on stage and the crowd was amazing and most of the crew very helpful.

Thank you everyone who came to Boon Lay Countdown and especially those who came to support us! Special thanks to Beumon & Friend, Chern Hui & Friend, Joy & Family, Lucy & Family, Paul & Kerene, Seto, Xuan Ma & Pa! We really appreciate it!

Hey all,

Apologies for the cancellation of this Friday's acoustic gig @ Crazyworld Cafe. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this gig had to be postponed till further notice.

However, 2 days @ West Mall was tiring but fun. 'Live For The Moment' held their first acoustic gig at West Mall on Saturday & Sunday. lol. It was short and rushed, but we enjoyed the process of helping one another for a common objective... music.

Firstly, we'd like to thank Ridzuan & Claire for organizing. Extra super special thanks to Caihua & Zhiyang, Chernhui (Redpoll), Darren (Defuse), Jonald, Joy & Family, Kerene, Paul (天地会), Regine (LGF), Seto (LGF), Tong's family & the cute little boy, Trish (Momo), Winnie, Xuan Ma & Pa for coming!!

Due to equipment & environment, we are not able to have the whole band to perform for these 2 days though but we'll be having full band gigs pretty soon~ and we'll make sure we bring the house down. Be sure to tune in for more updates!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Elyzia played another set at Serangoon Gardens Country Club tonight and that really marked our last stint at this wonderful venue. Thank you SGCC for having us there~

First off, we'd like to thank Darren Toh & Leonard Wee from local band Defuse for helping us out for tonight's sets. And we found out Leonard is a uncle and aunty killer! lol!

Next, we'd like to thank everybody who came to support us just now and especially to Alfe, Darren's friend, Joy, Xuan and THE ROCKER UNCLES!!! You guys rock big time man! *salute*

Last Night @ Serangoon Country Club

First of all, we'd like to thank Ah5ive, Defuse, Redpoll, Darren, Dennis, Enqi, Ize, Jason, Leonard, Meiyin, Sam, Takai, Xuan Ma & Pa for supporting us tonight! You guys were great!

We'd also like to thank Serangoon Gardens Country Club for having us there this period. We've learned alot and get to know alot of nice people! There was this couple who waltz during Defuse rendition of Beyond's 光辉岁月 and it was really classic! Thank you to Alvin who came out to support and Joe who made the $1,000,000 flower bouquet for us! There's a ribbon on it somemore... lol!

Thank you all who came and support us and especially thank you to our hardcore friends Dennis, Ize, Meiyin, Takai & Xuan who came almost every gig we had here! We lurv you guyz man~

Ivor, Rhea, Takai & Xuan went JB yesterday to watch Daydream's performace and man it was mindblowing and so enjoyable!

Daydream kicks ass and they are a bunch of very nice guys~ They are Daeren (Vox, Guitar), Ryan (Vox, Rap), Chris (Guitar), Jason (Bass), Raja (Keys) & Ryan (Drums). You guys rock!

Music Matters 2010 @ HongKong

Elyzia has been quite busy lately with writing new songs, practicing and all the administrative matters on the gigs~

Comes back to Music Matters 2010, Elyzia is very honoured to be one of the invited bands together with Ah5ive and Redpoll from Singapore to perform in this event @ HK.

We went there as a team, with a mission to promote the movement of "Live for the Mo\m/ent". Music never dies, we want to inspire and relay our message to everyone, We love music, and that's y we are here. We live the moment for our passion, so can you! \m/

This is really a very enjoyable trip, though schedules are hectic, but a fruitful and unforgetable trips, which we had brought back with us alot of memories and experiences.

Schedule for our stay in HK is as below:

26 May, Tuesday

27 May, Wednesday
Redpoll's performance day at Grand Hyatt.

As excited as we were, being the 1st day in HK, we woke up early at 8am to head to Jordan for dim sum. After that, we went to walk around, and have some desserts. After which, we went back to the hostel together with redpoll, and get their stuffs prepared for heading down to the sound check in Grand Hyatt at 3pm.

When we reached Grand Hyatt, the hotel's design is really prestige, and we met up with one of the organisers, Alex Ng, and the soundman for the night - Stephen. There are really great professional people! Stephen is so into in making the sound right for redpoll.

After the sound check, we spilt our ways with redpoll, as we wanted to visit some pubs and places with live bands, while redpoll need to get themselves ready for the night. We gather again back at Grand Hyatt, before Redpoll's slot at around 9pm. Wow, the place is really filled with ALOT of people, and we met with Kris Lao, Shairah, and Lee Tong. They are all very nice people and performers!

After the performance and some supper, Frankie, Ivor, Kaywee and I went down to Lan Kuai Fong to reccee abit. Have some drinks, and then back to the hostel to rest, and get ready for the next day!

28 May, Thursday

As usual, we wakie in the morning, and have breakfast with the rest before walking around to do some shoppings. We went to Tom Lee to look at instruments, and Rhea gotten herself a very cool looking Pianica! Black keys with blue sharp keys. Immediately after she bought, she took it out and play it right outside Tom Lee's entrance. haha.

After that we went to Cavern to do some sound check for our set for the night at Cavern at 4pm. After the sound check, we went for dinner, sit around and chit chatted, to wait for our slots to come. Before our slot, is a Mongolian Band, playing some metal stuff with their chinese instruments. Very cool and new ideas, very nice!

Then it was our turn at around 9pm plus. The crowd was great, the place was great, everyone is just great!!

After our set at Cavern, we went down to Rockschool, a pub at Wan Chai, for Redpoll's performance around 10pm plus. We saw a japanese band before Redpoll, 2 pcs band with the guitarist and a Lady drummer. This band, esp the drummer, really impresses us!

And so, we ended our day at Rockschool!

29 May, Friday

Comes to the 4th day in Hongkong. All of us are one by one getting more and more tired, with rushing all around for sound checks in the afternoon, and performance at night.

We had an easy breakfast, doing some free and easy shopping, and then started our usual routine.

1st, we went down to Cavern for ah5ive's sound check at 2pm, then we stayed outside, had some tea with dim sum, walk around, went to the xing guang da dao, take the ferry, and then to Rock school at around 9pm, for Elyzia's and ah5ive performance. Greg, the boss of Rockschool is a nice guy, treating us with shots. Rhea Frankie and Michel stayed back after the performance awhile to have a drink with Greg, and also supporting the bands performing on the same day while the others gotta rush down to Cavern for Ah5ive's performance at 12am. Rhea Frankie and Michel joined the rest back at Cavern after awhile.

As we did promise Greg that we will be back at Rockschool later, Frankie and Ivor did went down again after ah5ive's gig, while the rest, head back to the hostel to rest after the long day.

30 May, Saturday

Finally came to the last performance day of the trip. The energy of everyone was very much drained, and this day, is the busiest day with all the 3 bands performing on the same day!

We had our sound check at Beer Bar @ 2pm, then Ah5ive and Redpoll's sound check at 3 and 4pm. It was a rainy day, and we were all very tired too, so after dinner, we did not really ran around. Instead, we sit down in Pacific Coffee at Lan Kuai Fong, stoning, suring the net, drink coffee. Maybe becoz of the rain, the guys seemed to be falling sick and they felt cold. So they went to the nearby shopping mall to buy cardigans and sweaters, while the 3 girls remained in the cafe, to do their makeups, for hours.. lol. Whole day was spent at the cafe, before we head to backstage for the performances.

We got to know a band from Japan, who stayed in Hong Kong, called Ocean Boulevard. Great band, great people, all of us enjoyed their show!

After that, we rush down to Beer Bar, for the last show of the trip. Elyzia's performance at Beer Bar is at 2am!!! Before our slot, is Galaxy Express. When its our turn, the last slot of the day, everything was very smoothly at the beginning. But somehow, until our 3rd song, Ivor's amp started to give way. The fuse was blown, the Frankie's amp, and then Jason's amp. Left with only Michel and Me, = Drums, keys, and vocal. LOL... Its was a mess with all the instruments down, but i think, we did our best to make our show an enjoyable one! Somehow, we managed to have all the instruments and member back on stage for our last song. Really loads of experiences learnt, and really really did enjoyed ourselves! Despite all the mishap happening on the day, we have new supporters giving us their encouragement, which we really appreciate that alot!

For this whole MM trip, we had learnt to help and give our support to each other before, during and after the performances, we lived for the moment, we know loads of interesting and nice ppl like Alex, Chris B, Stephen, Mikey, Calvin, Nate and Chris from Of Moth and Stars, Greg from Rock School, Dr RS Fang, Ocean Boulevard and alot alot friends who gives us their support!

We will never gonna forget this trip, and the ppl we known, and, we will put what we had learnt, into our future performances!

Spring Scream Day 春天呐喊第五&六天(Yoho Day)

在恆春的第五天,是我們的休息天. 我們讓自己休息多一點,睡到12點多才起來. 我們到恆春的街道上逛逛,看看我們還有甚麼好吃的東西沒吃到, 不過, 由於很多店面都沒有開.與是我們就隨邊進了一間賣蓋飯的店吃了午餐.

過後我們又回到了水吻,找Helen和楊大哥聊天. 我們還吃了滿多甜品的..一待,就在那待了好幾個小時了.Helen還請我們嘗了她精心烘制的巧克力甜點,非常每位!楊大哥也很熱情的陪我們聊了好久的天,哈哈. 楊大哥還要我們在水吻的牆壁簽名呢!我們還真是受寵若驚!真的真的真心的感謝楊大哥還有Helen對我們的熱心支持!好想念你們哦!

之後我們就到了東港餃子館吃餃子.還真的是超好吃耶,尤其是它的辣椒配料... 讚! 之後,我們也很飽了,就會去休息了,一天的閑游,就這樣過了.

第六天,也是在墾丁休息站的最後一天,也是到Yoho演出的那一天了!非常捨不得離開墾丁休息站,墾丁休息站,也很捨不得我們,哈哈! 我們跟休息站的所有員工還有林老闆一起吃了午餐後,林老闆還請我們免費的玩那裡的Go kart!那裡的每一個人,真的都對我們很好,好舍不得啊!

玩完了賽車,也就是說拜拜的時候了.我們拍了好幾張照片,紹老闆也到了,我們跟大家告辭了,就前往Yoho提供給我們的住宿-Yoho度假屋去了.那裡還真是好漂亮哦.我們到了房間,梳洗,休息了一會兒,就上了Yoho安排的專車接送,前往我們演出的地點出發!

雖然表演當中出了一些些狀況,不過,我們都非常的Enjoy!

表演完了後,我們就趕緊回到度假屋去放了我們的東西,等紹老闆來接我們去"烤肉大會"!還真的要謝謝紹老闆對我們的照顧,還特地安排了烤肉會給我們.這場烤肉會很特別,都是DIY的,食物也好吃到暴.

過後,也買了好多好多好多啤酒,吃吃喝喝到凌晨3到4am才會去.真是一個很難忘的一天.

隔天早上,我們7點都就得離開Yoho,向台北出發了.

恆春一行,也就在此畫下了句點.非常難忘,非常好玩,非常有感觸的一游. 這次,是一粒沙第一次一起出國,第一次一起在國外表演,第一次全體都住在一個房間裡,我們的好多第一次.很珍貴的回憶,更學到了很多我們在每天生活里忽略掉的事情.這一次的旅程,不再只是關於表演而已,而是整個團體的精神,更深一步的對彼此的了解,更強的凝聚力,更肯定了我們對音樂,對夢想的执着.

謝謝你恆春! 你給我們留下了非常美好的回憶.我相信我們一定會再回到這裡的!後會有期!

Spring Scream Day 春天呐喊第四天

終於到了春吶天了!

我們一早起來,就把樂器拿出來,做最後的練習何衝刺.

吃了早餐,我們就等著紹老闆的車,來接我們到鵝鸞鼻公園去. 每一個人都非常興奮. 由於春吶在墾丁很受歡迎,外來的旅客也特別多,多到把整條馬路給塞住了. 還好紹老闆帶我們繞路走,才躲過了塞車的路程.

我們還挺早就出門了,紹老闆乘我們還有點時間,就順道帶我們去看看一些墾丁的旅遊聖地. 首先,紹老闆請我們到大橋去逛逛,接著就在沙灘旁停了車,我們也在那兒拍了一些照片.

接著,我們就向鵝鸞鼻公園出發! 到了那兒,我們把樂器放下,就買了一些台啤,一邊喝者啤酒,一邊欣賞其他樂團的演出. 等啊等啊,終於到我們了! 我們的友團天地會還有黑森林都有在場給我們支持.起出我們都很擔心,人生地不熟的我們,會不會把整個場給搞冷了.不過,台灣的朋友都非常熱情,給了在台上的我們很大的鼓勵與支持. 當我們宣布免費發送我們的EP還有親自設計的限量版T-Shirt,就在短短的1分鐘內,給搶個金空. 我們也在這場演出,結識到很多好友:)

過後我們就到處跑場,看看不同台的演出,看到很多很棒的樂團.櫻桃幫也在同一天演出,我們當然也不放過那麼精采的表演咯

觀看完了表演,我們都筋疲力盡了,又餓又累,就打給紹老闆,載我們會到休息站.紹老闆介紹我們他一位好友的海產店的sashimi,還真的是有便宜,又新鮮,又好吃! 100NT 一盒,吃到你吐!

謝謝老闆們的請客!

由於Mic還有Ed都不生魚片,我們就到了墾丁的夜市逛逛,找點東西吃.就到了這攤火鍋攤.友善的老闆,好吃的牛肉火鍋,真的覺得自己好幸福啊!贊!

忙了一整天,又是休息的時候了.

Spring Scream Day 3 春天呐喊第三天

恆春的第三天,由於前一晚,到處騎腳踏車,耗費了很多體力,這天,我們就起來的比較晚.

我們吃過早餐後,就向鵝鸞鼻公園出發了.在到鵝鸞鼻公園的路程,我們才發現,騎腳踏車到那兒,根本是不可能的事情,哈哈. 還真的是很遠哩!坐車,都需要30分鐘以上了.

終於,我們到了鵝鸞鼻公園了.第一次到這兒的我們,人生地不熟的,整個鵝鸞鼻那麼大,我們也毫無頭緒應該往哪個方向走.不過,路在嘴上,到處問,就一定不會錯.

春吶的工作人員都很友善熱心,很有耐性的向我們指引到樂團登記處的櫃檯.我們走啊走啊,走上坡,又走下坡,然後再走上坡,總與到達目的地了.我們到了櫃檯,其實,已經累個半死了,體力,都已經消耗一大半了.登記完後,我們就進去春吶的表演場合,看看,還有支持一下當天的表演樂團.那裡一共有七個表演舞台,而我們就被分配到紅色的舞台.

看到一半,覺得肚子餓了,所以我們就跑出去吃點東西,添一添肚子.我們叫了一些台灣小吃-炒米粉,蚵仔煎,等,當然,少不了台啤,哈哈.

吃完了後,我們又回到表演場合去觀看其他樂團的表演.這時,我們也在裡面碰到了我們本地的友團-天地會,還有LGF.看表演的時間過的還真快,不知不覺,天都已經暗了.我們也在8點多時,離開了鵝鸞鼻.

我們在想,鵝鸞鼻,應該離墾丁大街不是很遠,可能我們可以慢慢的走到那裡.我們就開始了我們的"路程".我們一邊走,一邊談天,還走到了完全沒有路燈的路,還好Edmund有隨身脇帶一個手電筒,才看得到.結果,我們一直走,一直走,也不知道走了多遠,走了多久,就是看不到墾丁大街的蹤影.有好幾輛計程車,看到我們在路邊走,都好心的停下來問說,可以便宜載我們一程.不過,我們還是堅持要繼續走,而且,談天,都談的還很起勁.

跟著,又不知道走了多遠多久,可能有一個小時了吧,但始終,都還沒到達目的地.這時,我們也開始累了.剛好又有一輛計程車停下來,跟司機談了一會兒,我們決定上了那輛計程車. 我們才發現,走了那麼久,我們只不過走了一半的路程. 哈哈...

到了墾丁大街時,我們都要餓死了.就到了Helen還有楊大哥介紹的迪迪小吃,嘗一嘗到地南洋風味的食物.果然,真的好好吃!是辣了一點,不過,都很有家鄉味道.

吃完了後,我們就在墾丁大街逛了逛,後來,我們決定到85度C歇歇腳,結果,又看到了LGF和Alfe.哈哈.

休息夠了,我們也是時間回去了,就打給紹老闆來接我們.那天路還真塞,原應該10分鐘就可以到的紹老闆,花了45分鐘才到.因為春吶季節關係,太多車了...

回到休息站,大家沖了涼,小練習了一會兒,就趕緊休息,好準備明天的演出.

Spring Scream Day 2 春天呐喊第二天 part 2

回到住宿,休息夠了後,肚子也開始餓了. 紹老闆載我們到墾丁大街, 介紹我們一間叫做"一品卤味"的卤味店. 我們到了,就立刻進去,點了好多卤味. 其實在點的時候,害怕不夠吃, 誰知道, 食物送到桌上的時候, 是兩大盤! Ivor和Rhea 還在懷疑, 是不是拿錯了哪桌的食物, 哈哈

看看Frankie那開心的模樣, 哈哈

吃到一半,就有兩位漂亮的Carlsberg啤酒妹走了進來.原本大家都不要買啤酒的,不過,英雄難過美人關,一向不是很愛喝酒的Edmund,還是屈服了,買了一瓶Carlsberg,接著,他們也跟妹妹門拍起照來. 哈哈

吃完了晚餐,我們就沿著墾丁大街的夜市逛.雖然天氣好冷,不過街上熱鬧的氣氛溫暖了我們.走啊走,聽到有Live Band的聲音,就走了過去.原來是台啤有促銷節目,邀請了好幾個台灣樂團表演.真棒.我們看到了一位可愛的女主唱,動作跟長相,跟我們的一位鍵盤手朋友-維璇,長的有7分象識,哈哈

看完了後,我們繼續我們的夜市之旅.突然間,彷彿看到了熟悉面孔,原來是LGF的Seto,Regine還有Chun.世界還真是小耶.

聊了一會兒後,又繼續的逛.這時,Michel 和 Rhea 又看到了熟悉的背影. 原來是Aqua Kiss的老闆娘Helen!大家都很興奮,立刻就走向前叫住了Helen.Helen 還有她老公-楊培安,楊大哥,也就是Aqua Kiss的老闆,也是到墾丁大街閑逛,找朋友聊天.我們那時也已經把整個夜市給逛完了,因為楊大哥和Helen就住在我們住宿的附近,所以他們就順道送我們回去.我們覺得真的很幸運,認識了一群熱心的好朋友!

到了休息站後,我們又騎著腳車,到附近的Seven買些零食還有台啤回去Relax.再離開Seven之前,Frankie腳踏車的鎖鏈鬆了,我們就停在那兒研究怎麼把鎖鏈放回位置.剛好有輛警察車停在那兒,那兩位警察就走了過來,看看是甚麼一回事.跟著,我們也跟他們聊起天來.哈哈!

玩了一天,大家也累了.回到了房間,梳洗完後,也就去休息了,好準備隔天到春吶去支持當天表演的樂團!

Spring Scream Day 2 春天呐喊第二天 part 1

在恆春的第二天早上, 墾丁休息站已幫我們準備了早餐,不過,我們大多數人都愛賴床,不舍的離開那大大又溫暖的床和被被,所以Michel一起來,就拿著他的snare drum,走到陽台去, "撻撻撻撻撻撻撻撻" 的打著他的鼓,我們被吵的,不得不起來了. Michel, 你還真的是很煩耶!

跟著,我們就一起到樓下去享用我們的早餐 - 飯包還有熱騰騰的鮮花生豆漿~ 看看Rhea和Frankie吃的那麼津津有味,就知道很美味了.

飯包里包著炸油條,肉鬆還有菜圃.很好吃,也吃得非常飽 :)

過後,Frankie和Edmund要留在房間休息,Ivor,Michel還有Rhea就不浪費時間,騎著墾丁休息站的腳踏車,向我們的恆春美食之旅出發!第一站我們來到了嘉潘義火雞肉飯.我們吃了火肌肉還有鴨肉,雖然沒甚麼特別,不過,還不錯吃的說

接著,我們就來到了這間冰店-Aqua Kiss (水吻)

他們的甜品,還真是好吃級了! 我們叫了芒果神冰,要有草莓冰沙,真的是天堂!老闆娘也是超友善的,我們都很談的來,一閑聊起來,就沒完沒了了

漂亮的老闆娘-Helen還介紹我們幾間好吃的店,不能錯過.我們原本還想逞強,騎腳車到鵝鸞鼻公園考察一下表演場地,不過Helen跟我們說,不可能,騎機車都需要二十分鐘以上了耶.我們不信邪,就是要試一試,所以就打了電話給Frankie and Edmund, 到水吻會合.

過後,我們就一邊騎腳車,一邊看到好吃的食物,就進去吃了.

我們吃了台灣麵線後,原本想找一間叫小牛村的牛肉麵館,可是,一直騎,一直騎,都好像看不到,可能已經迷路了.風很大,路也好長,怎麼騎,連南灣都還沒到,怎麼去鵝鸞鼻啊!過後,我們發現Edmund的腳踏車有點問題,我們的屁股,也快要開花了,所以就轉回頭了.

這時,我們才發現了一間小小,又非常有家庭感覺的一間小店,那就是我們找了很久的"小牛村"!當我們要進去的時候,裡面已經客滿了,我們只好在外面等了一下.不過,好吃的東西,是直得等的.

我們個自叫了一碗紅燒牛肉麵,炒了一盤茶沙牛肉片,還有小吃-皮蛋豆腐."小牛村"果然名不虛傳... 還真是好吃到不得了!讓人唸唸難忘...

小老闆-欣儀妹妹也跑來跟我們一起拍照了.她看起來,很喜歡Frankie哦,第一個,就直接跑過去抱住Frankie了.

吃完後,我們也累了.我們騎著腳踏車,沿著路程騎回去. 當而,我們看到了"小杜包子"外面排滿了人,想必,包子一定很好吃! 受不了美食誘獲的我們,還是忍不住,買了一些包子回去. 隊,還真的不是白排的,包子真的好吃耶.其中一個,叫做七采包. 裡面有marsh mallow, 還有custard,現在想到,都還會流口水呢!

過後,我們就一邊逛,一邊回到墾丁休息站,休息去了.

Spring Scream Day 1 春天呐喊第一天

时间过得好快，眨眼一粒沙就已经从台湾回新了。好舍不得哦。虽然超级累，不过我们都玩得很开心！而且认识了好多新朋友！这一趟可说是毕生难忘的经验了。话不多说，我们从第一天回顾起吧~

这是我们临飞前在机场的照片！看起来每个好像还满有精神的。哈哈!

大约六小时候，一粒沙终于聚合在桃园机场。大包小包，有的没的一起在等巴士载我们去搭高铁。

路上还满塞车的。半小时才到高铁站，而且很多人。结果。。。

一不小心，一粒沙的EP都掉到满地都是。。。全部人忙着捡。。。歹势，歹势

第一次搭高铁，结果买了自由座却坐在对号厢。。。Ed, Frankie 和 Mic 站了多过三个站！哈哈哈！累死他们了。
到左营时都十点多了。。。赶快搭计程车下恒春！不便宜哦。。。而且路程两小时。到垦町休息站已经过十二点了，都还没吃晚饭呢。不过我们民宿老板和员工（特别感谢赖小姐和林老板！）都非常好！不但半夜让我们check in，而且有脚踏车让我们到市区吃！由于饿坏了，好像忘记拍照。。。哈哈。第一餐我们在恒春吃的是鸭肉庚，好吃！饭后就去买我们缺少不了的台啤！归饭店后我们也休息了，等待迎接春呐第二天！

一个礼拜这样就过去了。。。又到拜五了！
前两个星期都过的很快，又累。练团完表演，表演完录音，录音完练团，练团完表演，表演完录音。哈哈哈。全部人都累死了。。。不过很开心！只是每个人做工的时候像熊猫。

New Demo Recording Day~

Once again, we are back at TNT for our new song recording~~ It always feels good to step into the recording studio~

New song "Forgotten" is now in the oven, waiting to be served soon.. haha.. This time round, the recording time is longer than the usually taken. So we only managed to finish the drums and bass on Sat.. Guitars and vocals have to be done on other days~

Woo... Elyzia had been busy with preparation of Hua Yi Festival... Therefore haven been updating our blog recently.. haha..

We enjoyed ourselves alot for this event!!! 1st, we went to support Redpoll on 23rd Feb @ Esplanade Concourse, then Elyzia's set on 24th Feb, together with LGF, and 25th Feb together with ah5ive.

We prepared a little surprise for Mic during the show... We pulled Mic to the center of the stage, and Rhea sang a song by Stephanie Sun - 爱情证书, to give our best wishes to the newly Wed on stage. Mic was surprised, and Joy in the audience seat was holding back her tears~ haha~ We were glad that they like it! ^_^

Overall, we enjoyed the show alot! Its so much fun to share the same stage with fellow local bands~

We would also like to Thank Darren Francis for taking the photos for us, and of coz, all our supporters who came down for both days, too many to name each and every one of u, u know who you are... You guys.. ROXXXXX!!!!!

Countdown to CNY & Hua Yi Festival 2010

Hua Yi Festival is just around the corner during Chinese New Year at Esplanade and Concourse.Be sure to look out for it as a lot of local bands playing chinese music are involved! Keep ya updated of the schedule~ \m/

Meanwhile, recording of our new original 'Creep' is 80% done less the vocals and we are working on more new ones to play during Hua Yi. Haha!

Mic's wedding is very near too and he's having a really busy New Year man. However, everything looks good and we are more then ready to take on more stuffs.

1st Gig of 2010

Elyzia just had their 1st gig of the year at The Arts House on 29 Jan 2010!

Well, there's quite a number of hiccups through out the gig...

Firstly:
1. Technical issues on Microphone during sound check
2. Keys has no sound at the start of the set, but managed to resolve right before the 3rd song
3. Ivor's wireless dropped from his strap
4. Then the wireless disconnected from the guitar and dropped onto the floor when he is going to start his guitar solo
5. after connecting, the guitar has no sound. The sound only came back at the 4th song.
6. When the set ended, while packing up our stuff, Ivor's guitar strap came off, and his guitar knock onto the stairs leaving a big ding!! We saw pieces of his heart scattered all around..

hahah... what a disastrous moment~ lol. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed ourselves, and of coz it wont be so enjoyable without great help from M productions, the sound crew and Nash!

Also thanks to Xin Yi and Joy for taking video and photos for us.

Photos and video is still in process, we will upload it once its done!

Now we are practicing for Huayi Festival performance, happening in Feb 2010! Very excited, and very much looking forward to it! Ah5ive, Red poll, Black Forest and LGF will also be playing~ Will update the details soon! We are working on the new songs too, hope that we can finish them in time for Huayi Festival!

Jamming Jamming

Elyzia has been busy with the jamming schedules lately, to prepare for our gig on 29th Jan, and Hua yi festival, and maybe its the beginning of the year, everybody is just so busy...

We were glad that we have a bunch of gd friends at Shiinstudio~~ We have times when one of us couldnt make it for jamming, and Jason would help us fill in the empty slot

We have times when we reached Shiin earlier than our jamming time, and we started to play around with whateva we have on hand, to have a free jam~ (yeap, outside the jamming room). Look at Takai's expression with the iphone drums.. lol

And of course, not forgetting Sam, who is our special guest guitarist for our new song, joining us for the practices

Last but not least, just wanna repeat this again, Elyzia is performing at The Arts House on 29th Jan @ 4pm! Door Ticket at $12 per pax, and all profits will go to the Children Cancer Society! Support the Charity Act, Support Elyzia~~~

Count Down Gig @ Boon Lay

Happy new year to everyone!! This will be the 1st post of our blog, for year 2010~~!!

We ended the year, with the count down gig at Boon Lay Hard Court. Wow~ this is one of the most enjoyable gig for year 2009~!!

Although there were quite a number of hiccups from before the gig started, till the end of it, overall, it was very enjoyable!!

We have a big stage to play around with, got fog machine (which produce fog non-stop... i mean, really non-stop....), bubble machine (feel like in a fairyland when the bubbles were flying ard), and, the fire machine (real fire!)!!!

There were some technical issue happening during the gig.. 1st, Rhea's keyboard couldnt work, probably due to some power supply issue, so, we go on and start the performance without the keys. Shortly, the power supply affected Frankie... His bass amp's light starts to fickle, and then, no sound... until the last song.. virus pass on to Ed... His guitar has no sound too!!! Left with vocal, drums, and Ivor's guitar, lol

However, we still managed to finish performing despite so many problems happening concurrently, haha! But it was really fun! The crowds were amazing... really really alot of ppl.

Would like to thank the organiser - Victor, Angela, the emcee of the day - Mark Lee, Sin Yee and Kevin, Xin Yi, Joy, and all our friends for coming down to support!!

After the gig, as Ivor's car was trapped at the carpark at the performance venue due to road close, Mic send us down to Conspiracy Pub with his lorry to join the rest of our friends for the party!! We enjoy big time with the gangs~ stayed all the way until 5plus almost 6 in the morning before we headed home.

Before i post some photos for the countdown party, Elyzia's 1st gig of the year will be on 8th Jan 2010 @ Substation! Details as below:

We had just finished our 1 hr gig @ Maska on 26 Dec 2009. Alot of our friends came down to support us, despite such a late hour gig @ 11pm~

Really really appreciate the support from you guys, esp Kiwi and Jason - helping us loads with the setup, Darren - taking nice photos for us, AJ for the xmas pressie, Yuda & Lydia for organising this gig and of coz not forgetting your presence at maska (not in any order)- Seto, Peggy, Joy, Xin Yi, Sin Yew, Kevin, Eileen, Hong Kian, Allan, Shirley, Veron, hope i did not miss anyone out~

And we had made new friends too, we are really happy, to be able to share our music to the public :) Thank you Live4Music for giving us this opportunity to perform!

So, what's up next after Christmas?

Yea, its new year! Elyzia will be performing at Boon Lay Hard Court (Beside Boon Lay CC, 9am on 31st Dec 09!

We had a blasting fun time and hope everybody had as much fun as us! Thank you so much for coming to the launch and made everything so memorable for us! Would like to thank Tony for featuring our song 'Puffer Fish' on Dragon Radio HK Vol077. The EP contains a song which we had not release before. We had also received more orders from US, Australia and Canada. A big thank you to everyone here and abroad alike who supported us! Keep'em coming!

We have 2 new songs up! One was recorded last month but we only manage to finish the mix recently. The other was juz finished but the mix was done faster since we had extra time @ TNT studio. So... what the heck... upload 'em all! Hope you guys like it!

Apparently the weather in singapore is getting weird, itz so hot.... and then rain... then hot... then rain..... :S and everybody seems to be getting sick... Frankie juz recovering from fever, now itz Rhea's turn... Everybody drink more water, vitamin C and rest more!!!

Singapore Chinese Music Festival @ Homeclub

Woohooo~ Time really flies... Our performance @ Homeclub on 28th Nov 2009 is over!

But, wow... its really a super duper happening day @ Homeclub. We had altogether 8 bands performing, including Red Poll, Ah5ive, Momo, LGF, Nao (from KL), Tian di hui, La'Dies, and ourselves!

We were covering each other's songs, and to listen other bands playing our song, is really a new, and great experience for us! So exciting! To hear our song played in different style, is so wow~ Thank you ah5ive and LGF for covering! U guys ROCKZZZZZZ!!!

We have Nao from KL performing their instrumental pieces on that day too, its simply, amazing! All of us were so busy indulging ourselves to their music, that we forgotten to go forward to headbang.. hahaha~ After Nao's performance, is Tian Di Hui and then La'Dies.

Everyone just went forward to Head bang like nobody's business, not forgetting our professional body surfer - Chun, trusting his BODY to all of us. Damo from Nao cannot resist the temptation of the body surf trend too, and, yes, he jus hopped up, and entrust himself to all of us! LOL

Really a very exciting and enjoyable day, there's so much to learn from each other, thou, the next day, i think, 99% of us are suffering from Stiff Neck... LOL

We are looking forward to such events in the near future too. Big Big thank you to Rui(SCIM) for organising this event, and all friends who came down to support, making this a happening evening!

This week will be an exciting week! Not only because Friday is a holiday and most of us need to work just 4 days, 3 after 2 hrs more, but because of *drum rolls*

1) 26th Nov 09 (Thurs) - Sound playing @ Homeclub. Our dearest Pro Bass Bro Jason and gang will be performing at night! Wooohoooo~

2) 28th Nov 09 (Sat) - Singapore Chinese Music Festival Finale @ Homeclub! Fun Fun Fun! Starts @ 3pm till late~ Originals, originals and more originals! HOT & CRISPY!!!

After that, we will be recording our new song the next day! Luckily, itz @ 3pm... hahaha, cuz all of us will most probably be concuzz from saturday's partying. lol!

EP launch is goin on smoothly. A very very big thank you to all friends who had been and still are helping us out. *salute* And to people who had been supporting us all along, we really really appreciate it alot!!! Goin indie and DIY-ing everything from zilch is no easy task man. lol.

Rainy days, go away?

Hey,

Been raining quite often lately... rain gives different people different moods at different times, depending on what individual went thru... so... watz your take? LOL! >_<

Practiced till 2am yesterday and managed to get the whole structure of a new song out. The first step is always hard, but it will be impossible to proceed if the first step had never been taken. Applicable to life? mmm.....

Elyzia will be auditioning @ Maska this coming sunday 845pm. Exciting! I guess the chance to perform always brings adrenalin to our heads still. hahaha.

Gig @ SPD - Breaking Barrier

Wow... Elyz are loaded up with busy schedule for the past few days~ Time for some updates!

New original recording completed! Waiting for Ah boi (TNT) to done with the final mix before we upload it!

We had our SPD - Breaking Barrier Gig on 14th Nov. The whole event crew were amazing! Friendly and nice group of ppl, despite us not able to make it down for our sound check the day before, they arranged a quick sound check for us before our set started! Had great fun in the gig! Rhea even received a balloon flower from one of the volunteers (fr the balloon counter) in the midst of the performance.. well, thou that causes her to forget some of the lyrics right after it.. lol >_<

Gotta thank Josh for helping us out on this gig, and also all the friends for coming down, esp. Jason, Allan, Shirley, Evonne, Seto, Clara and Ed's family!

After the gig, we had our usual jamming session at Shiinstudio in the evening. As Mic was not able to join us for the jamming due to some family matters, Jason came in to help us with the drums on doing our new song, haha... Was a fun session!

More activities coming up on the following weeks! Our pro bass Jason's Beyond tribute band - Sound, will be performing @ Homeclub on 26th November. We will be there to support!

And also, on 28 Nov, together with some of the local chinese bands - ah5ive, Red Poll, LGF and more, we will be performing @ Homeclub for Singapore Indie Music Festival. Our slot starts at 4pm, and performance will go all the way until 10pm!!

We are so looking forward to the gig!!! And hope to see you guys there too!!

Happening Weekend!

Friday.....
This is the result of musicians having an instrument, some alcohol and plenty of snacks on a cozy sofa!

Saturday......
Elyzia practiced for 5 hrs! Our setlist for the 28th went smooth and we managed to tie down some loose ends, but we were damn hungry after that!!! Thanks to Mic for buying drinks for us during the short break! After practice, it rained when we went for our dinner... cooling weather... nice...

Next we went to watch our friend, Jason's performance. He is the guest cajorn player that night.

After this, we had supper and went for some drinks with friends~

Sunday.......
Recording Day! Any day in a studio will be a very nice day~ lol. In fact, any day that we can keep playing our instruments and making music will be a very fine day... This day especially because we are mixing and mastering our EP. Here are some random pictures we took of TNT again. lol.

So tired after that... but everything was worth it! There were so much difference after the mix!

Stone Mode

Elyzia practiced till 130am yesterday... today... stone mode... -_-

Although tiring, it was a fruitful practice becuz we managed to go through all the songs for our 28th gig @ Homeclub. Today, singapore have 5 walking pandas on the road. Well, no pain, no gain. At least now we are another step nearer for our preparation of the gig.

We also received our performance time today for the SPD (Society for the Physically Disabled) gig on 14th Nov. Elyzia will be performing @ 155pm. Please come down for the event if you are free! There will be alot of other great performances as well! Venue will be at Taka Civic Plaza. Show some lurv!

Can't resist showing this picture. The ball ball thingy is called "糖不甩". IT IS DAMN NICE CAN!!! Shop name is "记得吃" @ Chinatown Point. Their "双皮奶" is nice too!

Were finalizing some stuff for the EP on saturday and took longer then expected but still able to finish up with it. Hurry up and pre-order your free copy here if you have not yet done so!

Today, we began recording our new song! We started late, so it is still at a very raw stage. Shall continue next week. Back to the studio for both weekends! What a nice feeling!

For our upcoming Homeclub gig on 28th Nov, on top of our own songs, we are also covering original songs from our friends bands of different era which actually span over a decade. See if you can recognize these songs on that day!

Hey,

Our new original 'Nightmare' had finally arrived and uploaded! Please check it our at our website! It is quite different from the version we played live @ Homeclub on 17th Sep. Speaking of which... we are still editing the vids and will upload them once it is done. But you can check out our latest vids for our performance for Audition Birthday Bash on our website first. Much thanks to our dear friends for the vids~

We are currently preparing for the gigs in November as well as finalizing some details for recording of our next original. Meanwhile we are also working with Ah Boy on our EP which is still available for pre-order here and will be launched on Christmas Eve 2009!

Roller Coaster

Life is like a roller coaster ride... indeed. However, at least all passengers on the roller coaster are going through all the ups and downs together and end up at the same destination together.

Ironic? Applying this to life and whatever we do... it bears uncanny similarities... even though depending on individual's perpective there'll still be differences, there is only one truth amongst the chaos. That is, to do, or not to do. There is really no try as Master Yoda himself put it. If an 800+ yrs old Jedi Master say it himself, who are we to dispute it. LOL!

Just finished recording our 10th original today @ TNT! Can't wait for Ah Boy to send us the final mix! Next original is scheduled to be recorded in 3 weeks time.

Super long never update our blog liao... since Asian Beats wo...

Well, we are not entering the finals if that's what you wanna know, lol! But it was a damn good experience... really... super cool setup and sound, not to mention all the friendly and helpful staff of Yamaha that day. Shiok!

Our coming new original is almost done, most prob will be up next week.. hahaha, if i can do it within 1,000 takes that is... *cross fingers* Chiong ah!

And yes! Elyzia's will be playing on 17th Sept, 8.30-9.30pm @ Homeclub. Entrance age is 18, fwee is $12. 1hr gig! Woohooo~

Itz already coming to a week since our gig @ Food Fest... time really flies!

Went to see Momo, LGF & Black Forest gig on Thursday. Same hot weather, some slight technical issues but everything was great and we enjoyed the show~

Well, and it's back to recording TMD tomorrow! Hopefully can finish~

Ho ho ho~

What a weekend indeed!

First and foremost, we would like to thank our family, friends and everybody who came to support us for our gig @ Food Fest Clarke Quay. We love ya the most~

We would also like to thank Simon, your lil' best friend and the 800+ yrs old uncle whom we did not have the opportunity to get acquainted for showing your tremendous support to us and giving us all the sound advice. Glad that you guys enjoyed the gig!

As for ourselves, we enjoyed playing Food Fest VERY much! The crowd was cool, the sound crew were cool, the helicopters were cool, practically everything was so cool, except the weather. lol.

Elyzia will continue to work hard and look out for more chances to gig around and bring our best to you~

Well, saturday passed... and it's Recording Day!

Went straight to TNT to record our new song TMD (Too Much Damage) today! Don't know why... but recording and gigging have this mystical magic power that can make us excited. lol.

Have not finish TMD though but it's scheduled to be continued next weekend. Meanwhile, will be working on new songs.

Counting down the seconds to record our new original. Very excited. In fact, every recording is exciting, and it's getting from exciting-ter to exciting-terer. Street Fest '09 Aftermath

First of all, We would like to thank everyone & everybody who came to support us @ Vivo and/or *Scape. Appreciate so so much cuz itz been very very very hot lately, especially during the 2 gigs, and you guyz/gals still gave us your support. *bow* Would like to thank Mic especially for helping us capture all the nice nice photos during our *Scape gig.

Street Fest has ended and we enjoyed it so much. Hope that everybody enjoyed it as much as we did. Looking forward for more gig opportunities but meanwhile, as Josh said, itz back to the drawing board for new songs.

We will be planning to record our new original demo 'Why All The Blood' on 27th Jun 09. This is the last song of the set you guyz hear during our gig, previously un-released... lol.... cuz there's no demo to release...

There are also a couple of new originals which we are planning to add in as soon as our schedule and health is more settled. Edmund will be going through some work changes and Ivor is down with gastric flu. Thanks to all ma' mates for sending me to the hospital on Sunday and thanks to the understanding staff @ Beat Merchants that day~

Elyzia sincerely Thank you all friends who came down to support us at Vivo City! Your support means ALOT to us!!! Hope you guys had enjoyed yourselves!

It was a very very warm day, all of us were sweating like nobody's business on the stage. Few glitches here and there during the gig, but overall, outcome is not as bad as we expected it to be. haha!

Also special thanks to Rhea's brother and Ken for taking videos for us, Ah Chen, Siang hor and Serene for taking nice shots of us, Amanda for uploading our videos :)

Frankie's Big Birthday

9th of June, is our dear Frankie's Birthday... We decided to give Frankie a little surprise by bringing out a cake during our late nite jamming... Not to forget, it's Nash's Birthday too!! Happy Birthday to the 2 big boys!

Somehow, we regretted buying a mango cake for Frankie... He had enjoyed himself by spreading the cream all over our face!! Luckily, its just mango cake, and not any SUPER cream cakes.. lol.. Nex time, we shd buy Pandan cake instead..

Elyzia took part of the Street Clap Competition on 1 May 2009, with 20 bands on that day. Although Elyzia did not make it to the Final round, we learned and enjoyed alot that day. Elyzia also sincerely thank all our Friends who came down specially to give us their support, Really thank you thank you, and appreciate it!
